One of the many cosmetic options that were available for the Camaro model line was a tinted glass option. Available from the beginning as either RPO A01 all tinted windows or A02 tinted windshield only.

In the case of RPO A01 Softray Tinted Glass all windows the package consisted of a tinted upper band t the windshield and lite tinting to the side and rear windows. Shows below is an example of a tinted and non tinted windshield as well as an example of a tinted and non tinted 1967 Camaro vent window. Notice in the vent window image the slight blue/green hue to the tinted window and the clear appearance of the non tinted window.

Production for the RPO A01 option started with a small number in 1967 before reaching a peak in 1969 prior to declining again starting in 1970.
