RPO A39 Deluxe Front and Rear Seat Belts Article-

The standard equipment for seat belts in the Camaro consisted of front and rear drivers side and passenger side seat belts color keyed to the interiors color which included a plastic cover over the locking mechanism. An upgrade to this was RPO A39 which in 1967 consisted of a seat belt with a brushed steel cover and was an option for individuals who ordered both standard and deluxe interior for coupes or convertibles. In 1968 and 1969 this option would be the RPO designation for convertibles only as the option numbers would be different for the various seat belt configurations offered those years.
